You can now connect your Dshop store to Printful and start selling a wide variety of products with no setup costs and no need for managing inventory or fulfillment! Whenever a customer places an order on your Dshop store, Printful takes care of fulfillment, saving you all the hassles of printing, packing and shipping.
First, you will need to go to Printful and create an account. After signing into your new Printful account, the first 2 things you need to do will be to confirm your Printful account's email address and more importantly, to set up your billing method on printful.
Note that if your billing method is not set up, you will not be able to process orders on your Dshop.
To set up your billing method, go to Billing > Billing methods. Click "add a new billing method".
You can find detailed instructions on how to set up your billing method here, and if you want to learn more about how billing works on Printful, you can read this help article. The simplest way to understand it is that a customer will be paying you for a product using Dshop, and you will then pay Printful for the fulfillment of that order.
Next, click on Stores on the left navigation bar and then click the Create button under "Manual order platform / API" to create a new store.
Your new store will show up in your list of stores, and you can start adding products to it!
Choose a product from Printful's large catalog, upload your design and customise it to your liking. Then choose a mock up image (that customers will see when browsing your store) and set the pricing for your product.
Once you're happy with all the products you've created, you can now sync your Printful account with Dshop.
To do so, simply go to Settings > Stores > API on the left navigation bar in Printful, and click Enable API Access.
Copy the API key.
Now go to your Dshop admin, and go to Settings > Apps.
Click the Connect button and paste your Printful API in the Printful API Key field. Remember to check the "auto-fulfill" button if you'd like orders to fulfilled automatically, then click the blue Connect button.
Your Printful store will now be successfully connected. Now all you have to do is to click Sync to ensure that Dshop is pulling the most up-to-date products from your Printful account.
Your Dshop is now ready for customers!
Don't forget to set up your payments first (Dshop currently supports credit card, cryptocurrency, PayPal or manual payment methods).
Anytime you want to make changes to your existing products or add/delete products, remember to do that on your Printful account and then sync your Dshop once you're done making changes.
